We are the "data controller" for the personal information collected through this website, which means we decide how and why it is used. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect and why

When you send us an enquiry through our contact form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, business or farm name, email address, phone number and your message. We use this information to:

Our lawful basis for this is "legitimate interests" (responding to your enquiry) and, where you go on to take a contract with us, "performance of a contract". We do not use your details for automated decision-making and we do not sell them to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and for up to 24 months afterwards in case you come back to us. If you become a customer, we keep contract and billing records for as long as the law requires (typically six years).

Who we share it with

We don't share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share limited details with service providers who help us run the business — for example our website hosting provider and email provider — who may process data on our behalf under contract. This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses to provide security and performance services.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be used (for example, if you log in to an administrative area).

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site usage — for example how many people visit and which pages they view. It is a privacy-first service that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track individuals across websites.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
